Sky Loft

Our new SkyLoft is something very different: the best ocean views offered at Hotel Costa Verde from the balcony and terrace of a renovated vintage fuselage, a 1982 McDonald Douglas MD-82. The fuselage's two generous bedrooms offer a total of four queen-size beds, each with its own entrance to the 800-square-foot terrace. On the terrace you'll easily entertain with a dining table for eight, a wet bar and a sitting area, all with breathtaking views of the Océano Pacífico. Also, five stories above the jungle floor, SkyLoft has an additional private, romantic balcony hanging off the master bedroom. We call this place the 'Scenic Soak' because of the luxury bathtub, which offers an unparalleled ocean view. Floating in the tub, on top of the world... you'll forget the “real” world exists and you may never want to leave Hotel Costa Verde: where the beach meets the jungle. At the end of its previous life, our plane flew charters for Ukrainian partygoers from Kiev to the Mediterranean beaches of Turquía. We rescued the aluminum fuselage from its "airport resting place" in San José and carefully transported the parts on several large articulated trucks designed to move cell towers.
